We’re pleased to announce that Alice Barrett has been appointed Head of Learning & Development, a newly created role at AssessTech.
As part of the changes we’re making to our organisational structure, we’re separating Learning & Development and Consulting into two distinct areas, each with dedicated leadership and a clearer focus on its own growth opportunities.
Renaming ‘Training’ to ‘Learning & Development’ reflects our ambition to broaden how we support our partners. High-quality training remains central to our offering, alongside opportunities to support wider learning, competence and workforce development needs.
Throughout her six years at AssessTech, Alice has worked across almost every area of our business. Her experience includes training 200 South Western Railway investigators on ACMS, coordinating an evacuation bridge training video, representing AssessTech on a Department for Business and Trade mission to Australia and developing standardised partner onboarding and change management processes.
This breadth of experience gives Alice a strong understanding of our partners, our services, and how people, processes, and technology work together to support effective learning and development.
In this new role, Alice will focus on strengthening partner relationships, developing our offering and improving candidates’ learning experience. She will also work closely with our wider teams to bring together the expertise and technology available across AssessTech.
Alice’s first priority will be to listen to our team and partners, understand their needs, and use that insight to shape priorities going forward. Over the coming weeks, she’ll reach out to our training partners to introduce herself and discuss how we can continue to support you.
We’ll share a separate update on the leadership and direction of Consulting in due course, including how the two areas will work together.
I’m delighted to have Alice leading Learning & Development and look forward to the opportunities this broader focus will create for our team and partners.
